Para mim foi uma agradável descoberta, feita ontem no canal de música no NATIONAL GEOGRAFIC. Tenho mesmo andado a dormir.
Aconselho começarem por ouvir o álbum "Crouçie d’Où La", pois foi o primeiro que ouvi e que me fez querer mais.

«Emiliana Torrini (Reykjavík, 16 de maio de 1977) é uma cantora islandesa que tornou-se famosa pelo seu álbum, Love in the Time of Science, produzido junto com a banda Tears for Fears de Roland Orzabal.

Filha de pai italiano e mãe islandesa, em 2005 ela lançou o álbum Fishermans Woman com ótimas canções como Sunnyroad e Heartstopper. Anteriormente ela lançara três álbums em islandês, Spoon (com uma banda de mesmo nome), Crouçie dOù La, e Merman. Seu site oficial a descreve como sem categoria, mas segundo o site Allmusic ela estaria dentro de gêneros como Trip Hop e Dream Pop

Torrini cantou a canção Gollums Song, a última do filme de Peter Jackson The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (As Duas Torres) quando a sua colega Björk teve que se afastar por causa da gravidez.»
